## Approval queue

An approval queue is a holding area where drafts and proposed actions wait for a person to review them before anything happens. In chess academy software it usually holds AI-written report text and high-stakes actions, such as marking an invoice paid. Fixed-template reminders do not wait in it.

## Context

ChessCore uses the idea three ways, and they do not share one screen. An AI-written report narrative stays a draft until a reviewer ticks Narrative reviewed, Numbers verified and Ready to send. A high-stakes copilot action, such as marking an invoice paid, waits for an owner, admin or finance user other than the person who asked for it. Class reminders, fee reminders and enabled monthly report emails use fixed templates, so they go out on their schedule with no AI-written text. Ordinary copilot changes, such as creating an invoice or rescheduling a class, ask for one click by default, and a staff member can switch the copilot to auto mode. A coach publishes class summaries by default, and an academy can opt in to auto-publish for summaries whose coach notes pass a completeness check. A guardian portal is a different thing: it is the family-facing side, not a review screen. On a demo, ask which AI output can skip review and who can switch that on.
