Your spreadsheet becomes the roster
Students, guardians and batches come in from the CSV or Excel file you already keep. Every row is previewed first, you correct what needs it, and an import can be undone within 24 hours.
Lichess and Chess.com, connected
Add each student's Lichess or Chess.com username with family consent. Linked accounts sync about every hour, coaches pick the games worth reviewing, and Stockfish analyses up to two synced games per student each night.
Batches on a schedule, fees on a plan
Recurring batches, coaches and fee plans are set up in ChessCore. Invoices carry Razorpay or Stripe payment links parents open on WhatsApp, and parents can set up UPI AutoPay or a saved card for recurring fees.

From spreadsheet to first approved report in a week
Use this suggested first-week sequence to check your setup. Your timing depends on the records you bring and the work your staff need to finish.
Day 1
Import your roster
Bring students, guardians, and batches in from the CSV or Excel file you already keep. Every import is previewed row by row first, and you can undo it within 24 hours. Fee plans, schedules, and coach assignments are set up in ChessCore.

Connect the chess accounts
Add each student's Lichess or Chess.com username, with family consent, or upload PGNs. Linked accounts sync about every hour. Pick the games worth reviewing, and Stockfish flags each blunder, mistake, and inaccuracy.
Choose one game for coach review

Invite the families
Guardians get an email invite valid for 7 days and create their own portal login with a password or passkey, with no app to install. Invoices carry Razorpay payment links, and parents can set up UPI AutoPay for recurring fees.

Approve your first reports
The copilot drafts progress reports from the week's attendance and ratings. The AI-written text stays a draft until you read, edit, and approve it, and then parents see proof of progress.
Preview the report before sending
Start with the student import template (CSV). Supported student fields are full_name, guardian_name, guardian_email, guardian_phone, batch_name and date_of_birth. CSV files can be up to 5 MiB (5,242,880 bytes); Excel (.xlsx) uploads can be up to 7 MiB (7,340,032 bytes). Preview and correct the rows before saving. Fee plans, invoices and opening-balance history are not imported. Set them up separately, along with schedules and coach assignments.

Every AI-written report and review waits as a draft. A coach edits and sends it, and reminders are fixed templates you switch on.
Chess judgment comes from the engine
Stockfish evaluates the games. The AI only explains what the engine found, citing the move and the eval change.

Invoices, Razorpay payment links, and UPI AutoPay mandates are generated from your fee plans and tracked to the cent.

What exactly does ChessCore do?
ChessCore runs the whole chess academy from one place: batches and recurring schedules, attendance and make-up credits, fee collection through Razorpay and Stripe, a chess profile per student with engine game analysis, and an AI copilot that drafts game reviews, progress reports, and parent messages from your real records. Students train inside it too: puzzles, games against AI and classmates, homework, and live classes on a shared board. Parents get their own portal for reports, receipts, and absences.
Do students practise inside ChessCore?
Yes. Students get a training portal with puzzles from a catalog of 6,095,563 rated puzzles, served on a spaced-repetition schedule with streaks and an academy leaderboard. They can play human-like AI opponents at five levels, challenge classmates, do homework, and join live classes where the coach drives a shared board. Tournaments run with Swiss, round-robin, or knockout pairings.
What does the AI do, and what does it never do?
The copilot drafts the paperwork: game reviews, monthly progress reports, fee reminders, and class recaps, all built from your attendance, rating, and payment records. It never evaluates a chess position (Stockfish does that), never invents a number (they come from the database), and never sends a draft to a family itself, except class recaps if your academy turns on auto-publish. Class reminders, fee reminders and monthly reports are fixed templates that send on the schedule you switch on.
Do parents need to install an app?
No. Parents get an email invite, then sign in to their portal in the browser with their own login, and the updates they care about, class recaps, fee links, and approved reports, arrive on WhatsApp. Families who want an app get the academy-branded one, which installs to a phone home screen straight from the browser.
